Care for What You Love
Quick Care Rules
Last on, first off
Avoid direct contact with perfume, hairspray, creams, or household chemicals.
Remove before water & workouts
Swimming, bathing, and exercise can dull finishes and weaken settings.
Store with intention
Keep pieces flat and separately in soft pouches or a lined box to prevent scratches.
Temperature matters
Avoid extremes of heat, humidity, and direct sunlight.
Clean gently
Use a soft, lint-free cloth. No abrasives or ultrasonic cleaners unless a professional confirms it’s safe.
Material-Specific Tips
- Gold/Gold-Plated: polish lightly with a non-abrasive cloth. Avoid metal-on-metal storage.
- Sterling Silver: store dry and airtight to reduce tarnish; brighten with a silver cloth (not dips on stones).
- Gemstones: many antique gems are foil-backed — keep dry and away from ultrasonic cleaners.
- Pearls & Enamel: very delicate. Wipe with a soft damp cloth only; never soak.
